[Piano Sonata: Desperation]

Some good parts and some bad

Maybe a review before this one has alread mentioned about the weird chords. It loses unity because of the sudden chord changes, but it still can portray the desperation and "moving on", though only by a little.

Overall, it's a decent song.

Makes me wanna headbang while playing Pokemon

Now I wanna beat up Lance again. :)) Really nice and clean instruments. Nice notes; every part pulls me back to listening it. Everything is just awesome.

Kinda noisy for a cutscene, in my opinion

It sounds alright, but not that much for a "cutscene song". In my opinion, what ruined it is that instrument that goes "waw-weow" or something like that (I think it's an instrument with a phaser effect). Maybe soften the sound of that.

Overall, sounds sad (that's what I'm feeling from it) yet cool. :))

Yeah i agree with you a little. I tried to give it a little futuristic taste with that sound. Its called the paleolith. But i will definately take ur advice on that :) And thanks for the great review :)

Can't help but agree with Agent1022

What I said above, and that the song is rather intense. Could've been better if you made it longer. Kinda like a song for an exhibition, in my opinion.

Not really rave, but definetely tension

Anyways, on the song, the tension feel is really present at the whole song. In my opinion, adding notes on a higher octave gives more tension as the song progresses. And maybe stops or slow parts.

Umm...

You really should not submit a song yet if you know that you're going to get a low score for it. Try working to the fullest on a song for maybe some days or weeks. Or maybe remaster them if you really want that song to have a high score (though it won't really be that exact same song now, right?)

Anyways, decent remix here. Maybe giving more "delay" to the synth, also the synth kinda sounds like Boom Boom Dollar :D

Yeah, I have tried to work on a sigle song for an extended period of time before. I just can't do it. I start working on it and I feel like I need to get it done that same day. I'll admit, my haste is sorta a weakness, but at the same time, I feel like it's a good thing. It's how I come up with some unique stuff.

Not good as a metal or rock song, and you should learn more stuff about FL Studio. I don't have tutorials, but surely other ones on the Internet have.

The playing lacks hand coordination and practice. Maybe some accompanying instruments too will make it a really good song.

Fresh indeed.

In my opinion, adding 1 or 2 more instruments (maybe 1 as a piano) will make this song better. Or maybe more notes for the saxophone.

I've been getting that a lot about adding more but I didn't want to overwhelm the song since I made it to be slow and somber. Thanks for the review though.
